The crimes include: Hate Speech, Racism, Denial of Basic Human Rights of minorities and Incitement to Genocide. The petition began after Zuma made bold statements at the African National Congress's 103rd birthday celebrations against a certain part (mainly South Africans of European descent) of South Africa's population. These statements include “''Jan van Riebeeck’s arrival in Cape Town was the beginning of all South Africa’s problems.''” President Zuma also said “''They fought us wherever they found us.''” The word “''THEY''” is used to exclude or alienate a minority of the population of South Africa purely based on their skin colour.
